“Over-the-Top” Television, more commonly known as OTT, is an internet-based, non-skippable, immersive content format that allows advertisers to engage with a unique audience that is committed to the content it is consuming.

OTT/CTV (Connected TV) is the technology that supports smart TV advertising capabilities allowing devices to access the internet via applications such as Smart TVs, or via external streaming devices including Roku, Apple TV, and the Amazon Fire TV Stick. Connected TV devices also include internet-enabled gaming consoles such as Xbox and Playstation.

TARGETING OPTIONS:

Site Retargeting

With OTT’s Site Retargeting tactic, your clients will be able to target users who have previously visited their website!

Let’s say your client is running a recruitment campaign. One user, in particular, works long hours at their current job and has been considering sending in their application to your client’s business, but hasn’t quite taken the next step yet. Through cross-device matching, your client will be able to show their video ad on the big screen to not only this potential applicant, but to their whole family who may be watching alongside with them!

Email Subscription

OTT allows you to create custom audiences of users based on subscription and newsletter emails they receive.

So if your client is trying to reach avid coffee drinkers for example, we’re able to serve ads to people who receive emails from branches like Starbucks and Peet’s Coffee!

Purchase Receipt

Purchase Receipt targeting enables us to reach users who have received purchase confirmations sent to their email address! These can be from events, invoices, products, and even travel.

Let’s use a local rock band as an example client. To reach users who may be interested in their music, we can target users who have bought tickets to similar musicians like the Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and other musicians of the like.

Search Behavioral

Search Behavioral targeting allows for custom audience creation based on a list of keywords that are relevant to the client’s campaign.

MEET SALLY…

Sally is in the market for a Christmas tree to bring some cheer to her husband Jack, who is suddenly really into the holidays. After searching the term ‘christmas trees’ online, Sally and Jack are served an ad for a local farm on their TV while catching up on their favorite show, which persuades the two to visit your client’s farm for their new tree!

Geo - Fencing

Geo-Fencing targeting utilizes multiple data sources to pinpoint a user’s exact whereabouts, allowing clients to target competitors’ locations and other relevant physical locations where their target audience may frequently visit.

Users who were served an ad via GF were 187% more likely to convert than those who entered the same stores but were not served an ad!

Want to target a specific event?

We can do that too! Just give us any date and time and we'll target users who attended the event.
